When tragedy struck Kim’s family right after Christmas in 1998, it was a loss so deep she believed she would not survive. She and her family witnessed the accident that took our daughter Nicole’s earthly life. That event rocked the very foundation of their beliefs and their world. Kim had to find a way to grieve and still live life fully. Feeling isolated and hopeless – she found hope and healing. Kim came to realize that grief and joy can co-exist. She became determined to find purpose in her pain and help others who were struggling with the deep sorrow of losing a loved one.
Kim wrote about her experience in a book titled Victorious Heart: Hope and Healing in the midst of Grief.
